I'm the founder of Zirnworks, LLC, a design and game development studio currently creating "Chroma Circuit" - a new twist on the racing genre.
While not building on the Synthara IP, I have contributed to a variety of industries as a concept artist and 2D/3D illustrator, starting in game illustration, and branching into interaction design, advertising, and licensing, with clients including Wizards of the Coast and Google ATAP. I have also exhibited large scale work at Burning Man and multiple art museums in the United States.
I find beauty in complexity, and tread where technology/design meet natural forms and systems. Building worlds around that crossroads is always satisfying. I take a scale-free approach to design, drawing inspiration from microbiology to metropolis.
Since childhood, I have been drawn to symmetry, recursion, and intricate, vibrant patterns. Nature has always been a huge inspiration. I feel so fortunate to be working in an age where digital tools support my ideas and form language so well, so I am always experimenting with new ways to create.
Escapism is another driving force in my work. My current focus is on constructing places which foster thoughts of growth, life, and how we might make our own world better, and love it when others visit them with me.
